London legends The Urban Voodoo Machine live at Yardbirds Rock Grimsby on Wednesday 6 May 2026
Led by the ever-flamboyant Norwegian-born singer, songwriter and guitar-slinger Paul-Ronney Angel, the Urban Voodoo Machine return to the road this spring, touring the UK in support of their new album Other People’s Children.
Since 2003, this superbly talented collective of musicians and showmen and women has been bringing their raucous, theatrical circus to the people, racking up thousands of shows and releasing several critically acclaimed albums along the way.
Uniquely, The Urban Voodoo Machine are the only band in the world to have played both Download Festival and the Montreux Jazz Festival, and they’ve toured with true legends including The Pogues and New York Dolls.
Described as “a great mix of Preservation Hall jazz, Eastern European folk and rock’n’roll” (R’N’R), the band’s own brand of Bourbon-Soaked Gypsy Blues Bop ’N’ Stroll has captivated audiences across the UK, US and Europe. Their fiercely loyal and ever-growing Black ’N’ Red-clad family is a testament to the power of the live show.
If you’ve seen The Urban Voodoo Machine live, chances are you haven’t forgotten it – part circus, part theatre, and a great Rock’n’Roll Show!
“Quite possibly the best show you’ll ever see!” – CLASSIC ROCK
